===Results===
Decided not to do the backroom on this trip. Not enough time.
We visited ABS Alaskan and got two new 6V batteries as well as a 35A controller that has superior power management capabilities. This should help the batteries have a better life span. Also learned a lot about the proper care and management of batteries, (and why the other batteries died so quickly).

Another pilgrimage to the Alaska home.

Things on my to-do list:
* See if I can negotiate a deal with John Pursley for electricity
* Install water pipe and various fittings
* Resolve potential gas leak
* Improve solar power system
* Review kitchen setup
* Look into propane fridge and connection issues
* Look at driveway access situation
